Volunteers play an invaluable role at Villa Marie Claire, and we welcome those who wish to contribute to our mission and make a lasting impact.
Volunteer Opportunities
Hospice volunteers support patients, families, and on-site staff in different capacities, such as:
Administrative Services: greeting families and visitors, assisting with clerical work, and helping with organizational tasks around the premises.
Patient & Family Services: visiting individuals or facilitating group programs for loved ones such as live music and art therapy. Certified pet therapy dogs and their owners, licensed massage therapists, and yoga instructors and reiki practitioners are also welcome.
Bereavement Services: partnering with our bereavement coordinator on administrative tasks such as making phone calls or writing cards, or assisting in bereavement support groups or workshops.
